St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School

Welcome to our website and thank you for reading what we, at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary school, have to offer.

Here, at St Patrick’s, we aim to provide an energetic environment where the living Gospel is found. This living Gospel encapsulates values of love, peace and justice and these are reflected in all that we do and can be seen in the behaviours of all members of the school community. It is our expectation that the children should give witness to our values and thus we support an array of local and national charities.

We are so proud of all the children who attend St Patrick’s, and we place their safety top of our agenda. We have a strong reputation for safeguarding and parents appreciate this.

Strong and stable relationships are the launch pad for a successful education, and we work very hard with all stakeholders, especially parents, to ensure no opportunity is missed to give our children every chance to achieve their God given potential. Our offer of many varied and fruitful extracurricular opportunities, from ‘Prayer and Worship’ to ‘Gaelic Games’, is amongst the best in the city.

Being part of the Romero Multi Academy Company gives us great support in leading and developing one of the most vibrant and exciting curricula offered. Pupil outcomes will always be prioritised as we ensure all children, no matter where they start from, progress as much as they can.

I feel blessed to lead St Patrick’s, happy hardworking children, a staff that care and a school community which has been said ‘hugs you’. A school Ofsted described as being at the ‘Heart of our community’. Do call our friendly office staff to arrange a visit or a chat directly with me. I look forward to meeting you and your children.

God Bless
