School Uniform (Optional for Nursery Children)
The Local Academy Committee require that all children wear school uniform. We feel that school uniform helps unite the children as members of our school family. We expect all children to come to school looking tidy and smart in their uniform and we encourage them to look after their clothes. We would ask that all clothes are named when first purchased, enabling all children to identify their belongings as one sweatshirt looks very much like another and can only be identified as belonging to your child if it has been named.
School jumpers and cardigans can be purchased from school or Cat Ballou.
On PE days children should come to school in an UNBRANDED ie Asda, Matalan black tracksuit bottoms with UNBRANDED white t-shirt and their school jumper/sweatshirt.
We realise that the cost of uniform is, initially expensive, but we feel that it is a good investment as it helps the children to identify with the school community and it provides Parents with the answer to the never-ending question “What shall I wear to school today?”
The term outlandish will be defined by the Head Teacher or Senior Management Team
